Residency requirements
There are no requirements for .COM.UA domains
.ua (2nd level) registrations: WIPO or Ukraine Trademark with exact name as domain name is required for both companies and individuals. To register a .ua domain on second level, you have to have an identical trademark. For example: with the trademark "cooldrink" it is possible to register cooldrink.ua but not cooldrink-online.ua. .ua (2nd level) registrations: There are three documents which can be accepted by the .ua registry: (1) WIPO trademark with designation to Ukraine. (2) Ukrainian trademark. (3) license agreement between trademark holder and licensee. This agreement must be registered in Ukrainian trademark authority Institute of Industrial Property.Technical requirements

Registrations
.ua domain registrations aren't immediate.
Average duration of the registration process: 2-5 work days.
Transfers
To complete .UA domain transfer, you'll need your current registrar to provide you the domain's AuthCode or EPP-Key to verify the ownership of the domain.
Transfers can take between 5 and 7 days to complete. Some registrars provide manual transfers allowing transfers to be completed on the same day, contact your current registrar to find out if they offer this service.

Renewals
The renewal of .UA domains is different than with other extensions.
It's necessary to request the domain renewal at least 30 days before the domain expiration.
In case the renewal request is done after this date, the correct renewal is not guaranteed.
Cancellations
It's possible to request a cancellation of your .UA domain, visit the support center to open a support ticket. Please note, cancelling a name does not provide a refund of any registration fees.
DNS modifications
DNS modification is immediate, please note they must propagate through the network, this process can take up to 6-12 hours to complete, until then the domain will still point to the previous DNS servers.
Domain owner change
Ownership changes are done manually and have additional costs, contact us via ticket in case you're interested in it.
Permitted characters
.ua domains permit characters from 'a' to 'z', numbers from '0' to '9' and hyphens '-'.
A hyphen '-' is not permitted in the first or last position of the domain name.
Two consecutive hyphens are not permitted in the 3rd and 4th position.
