Residency requirements
It's mandatory that the registrant has presence in Croatia. Companies in the EU can register .HR domains.
In case that the registrant is an individual, it's mandatory to reside in Croatia. In case of companies, if they're located in the EU (outside Croatia) it's necessary to provide an "Off OIB" number (company ID for foreign companies), we can request this document if you want to, please contact us to obtain more information. If the company has an European VAT Number, this "Off OIB" won't be necessary.

Registrations
.hr domains registration can take up to 2 working days
Transfers
.HR: Unfortunately it's not possible to transfer .HR domains.
.COM.HR: It's possible to transfer .COM.HR domains, once you've requested it, the Registry will send you an e-mail containing a link in order to accept the transfer process.
Renewals
Renewing your .HR domain only takes a minute and can completed at any time.
Cancellations
It's possible to request a cancellation of your .HR domain, visit the support center to open a support ticket. Please note, cancelling a name does not provide a refund of any registration fees.
DNS modifications
DNS modification is immediate, please note they must propagate through the network, this process can take up to 6-12 hours to complete, until then the domain will still point to the previous DNS servers.
Domain owner change
.HR domains do not allow ownership changes.
Permitted characters
.hr domains permit characters from 'a' to 'z', numbers from '0' to '9' and hyphens '-'.
A hyphen '-' is not permitted in the first or last position of the domain name.
Two consecutive hyphens are not permitted in the 3rd and 4th position.
