Can I contract a domain without hosting?

Yes, you can specify external DNS servers instead of associating a MrDomain plan. During the domain registration process, once the domain is in the shopping cart, you must remove the associated hosting plan:

Once the service is removed, you will be able to click on "Configure" the domain, and the following pop-up window will appear:

Advanced settings

Activate "Advanced Configuration" and then "Add" in the "Add external DNS servers" section. This way, you will be able to configure external DNS servers.
