What is Whois Privacy?
The Whois Privacy service is a tool that allows you to protect the privacy of domain contact details. When activated, the domain's contact details, such as name, address and email address, are replaced by our data, thus hiding the real data. Likewise, your email is also hidden with the format nombredominio.com@whoisprivacycontact.com, but you will continue to receive emails sent to the email address you have associated with the domain.
Since the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May 2018, most domains registered in the European Union no longer display personal information in Whois queries, or only reveal minimal data (such as the name of the owning company in the case of business ownership). However, for domains outside the EU or in circumstances where personal details are still disclosed, the Whois Privacy service, in those extensions that allow its use, remains an additional layer of security and privacy.
You can activate/deactivate the service at any time for free.
